Candlelight vigil held to mourn san bernardino massacre victims The vigil was held in response to the San Bernardino shooting, in which 14 people were killed at an unlicensed elementary school. It was the first time since the massacre that someone, no matter the motive or the motive's apparent failure, was expected to be there. People are standing around a long line to pay their respects. At least 16 people have been killed in the shooting, which also left six people dead and nine injured at the elementary school.
"I'm not a gun nut," said the woman, identified only by her first name. She was attending the vigil after a conversation with her son, a police officer in the San Bernardino County sheriff's department.
She was wearing a black T-shirt with her name on it.
"This wasn't just another day in San Bernardino," she said. "It wasn't just another shooting."
That shooting was a terrible day for many people in San Bernardino.
Some had no idea of its scale and impact. They were not informed about its victims. They were not given the opportunity to offer help and support for family and loved ones. Some, after being informed, were not even given proper funeral plans.
The city, for the first time in its history, was rocked by a mass casualty shooting.
Now, even if the shooter somehow escapes the mental health and medical treatment he may have received, the San Bernardino shooting and the massacre that followed will be long remembered and memorialized in San Bernardino.
The town is now a site of grief and debate, a place where one man's nightmare of being targeted by a gunman with automatic weapons is now the nightmare of a grieving couple.
And now, perhaps, a memorial could be put in place in honor of all the people killed in San Bernardino and the San Bernardino County, California.

What's more, while Samsung has had an open line of communications, there is clearly a degree of cooperation between its two OEMs regarding this device. Apple and Samsung have been using Android M throughout production and distribution, and Samsung's phones have received performance improvements through M since the first batch.
According to the Korean tech news portal KBIB, Apple sent a special note out to its Korean staff about how the Galaxy S6+ would be different from the iPhone 6, including that the S6 would run at "a much higher clock speed."
Samsung responded immediately. In the same note, it said that the S6+ will take up less space and will be "softer to install," which may not be accurate but is a lot easier to tell than telling people it's a 4k phone.
These comments are interesting for two reasons. One is that the S6+ will cost slightly more than the iPhone 6 at launch — the device is sold at a suggested retail price of $649 for the 32GB version and $749 for the 64GB version, while the 6 will be $549 and $649, respectively — but they aren't exactly saying that the S6+ will be cheaper than the iPhone 6.
The second is Samsung's admission that it doesn't want to undercut Apple. If the Galaxy S6+ is just slightly larger than the iPhone 6 and its battery lasts longer than Apple's latest, it's not a huge deal.
